Definition of Physical Properties

Melting range:  The temperature between which the alloy melts.

Flow point:  The temperature at which the solder flows.

Elongation:  The permanent extension of the alloy near the fracture in tensile a test.

Yield strength:  Measured in pounds per square inch, is the alloys resistance to deformation.

Ultimate Tensile Strength:  The Maximum Strength of the alloy when tested in tension.

Density:  Mass per unit volume, grams per cc.
